Rules & Guidelines
- Each team must consist of at least 1 and a maximum of 3 members. Each team must create a 30-60
second video advertisement for Xiaomi India's latest product or service.
- The Name of the video should be uploaded in the following format ("Team name - Product used-Year
of launch" )
- Any video which is not submitted in the above mentioned format will not be considered.
- All Advertisement entries must be submitted to Xiaomi, by uploading the same on a Google Drive
link. Any other URL will not be taken into consideration.
- Only the products launched during the year (2020-2023) should be featured in the Advertisement.
- Any featured product with a launch date earlier than 2020 won't be taken into consideration.
- The Ad duration is only restricted to 1 minute including the Titles, any Ad more than 1 minute
will be rejected.
- Any Ad which defames or show Xiaomi products in degrading way will be rejected.
- Xiaomi should be able to access the Advertisement entries, and the Students shall not delete the
Advertisement entries from the Google Drive link at any stage.
- Understand the brief: Read the brief carefully and make sure you understand the product or
service you are promoting.
- Be creative: Use your imagination to come up with unique and engaging concepts for your
advertisement.
- Keep it simple: Your ad should be easy to understand and communicate the message clearly.
- Focus on the benefits: Highlight the benefits of the product or service rather than just the
features.
- Make it memorable: Try to create an advertisement that will stick in the audience's minds.
- Keep the length in mind: Ensure that your advertisement is no longer than 60 seconds.
- Be professional: Ensure that your ad is of high quality and adheres to the content guidelines
mentioned in the rules.
- Submit on time: Make sure you submit your entry before the deadline.
- Collaborate: Work as a team and utilize each member's strengths to create the best ad possible.
- Proofread: Before submitting your entry, proofread it carefully to ensure there are no errors or
typos.
- Follow the format: Ensure that your entry is in the required format and follows the submission
guidelines mentioned in the rules.
- Enjoy the process: Have fun and enjoy the creative process of making an ad!
- Watching the ad making at Xiaomi India office is subjected to the availability and the
permission keeping the descretion of the product.
